Trallis Faye Pommier Dupre'

Krotz Springs – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Trallis Faye Pommier Dupre' at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 12, 2019, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Krotz Springs, LA.  Reverend Gene Tremie will officiate the Mass.  Rite of Committal will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA.

Mrs. Trallis, age 67, a resident of Krotz Springs, LA, passed away on August 8, 2019 at Opelousas General Health System.

Trallis worked twenty-eight years for the St. Landry Parish School Board.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and watching good movies.  She loved cooking and her kitchen was always open to anyone.  She always made sure no one ever left hungry.  She enjoyed watching the hummingbirds outside her window.  Trallis was a loving and caring person who put her family's needs before her own.  She loved visiting with friends and spending time with family; especially her grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Roger Dale Dupre' of Krotz Springs, LA, her sons, Shaun (Janna) Dupre' of Krotz Springs, LA, Roger Lee (Michelle) Dupre' of Krotz Springs, LA, her daughters, Rachel (John Michael) Sanders of Krotz Springs, LA, Michelle (Jacob) Bellow of Ville Platte, LA, Stephanie (Dewayne) Hill of Opelousas, LA and her sister, Marie Pommier Tate of Point Blue, LA.  She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, Dustin Sanders, Tyler (Jessica) Bellow, Cody Sanders, Bryce Sanders, Nicholas Bellow, Gavyn Dupre', Megan Dupre', Drake Dupre', Noah Hill, Abigail Bellow, Logan Dupre', Bethany Hill, Karson Dupre', Alaina Hill and Piper Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Mable Pommier and her brother, Bailey (Billy) Gene Pommier.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2019, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs, LA.  A Rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 7:00 PM by Father Michael DeBlanc.  Visitation will continue on Monday, August 12, 2019, from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Sanders, Tyler Bellow, Cody Sanders, Bryce Sanders, Nicholas Bellow and Gavyn Dupre'.  Honorary pallbearers will be Drake Dupre', Noah Hill, Logan Dupre' and Karson Dupre'.
