Krotz Springs- Memorial services for Ella Duplechain Casse will be held from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2020 in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs, La.

Ella Duplechain Casse, age 84, of Melville Louisiana passed away peacefully on September 17,2020.

Ella's joy's in life were her children and grandchildren. Ella was a master seamstress. Her talent in sewing ranges from clothes to drapes, for many hotels in New Orleans. Ella was an excellent cook. Her recipes are impossible to replicate but will not be forgotten. Her famous words to her family was "I cooked some white beans, you want some?". She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ella is survived by her children, Cynthia and Craig Hall, Samuel Casse, David and Polly Casse, Dennis and Darlene Casse, Carl Casse, Pamela and Mark Gauthier. Two sisters, Mary Ann Basco and Debra Harrington. She was the proud grandmother of Brian Muse, Desiree Isaacs, Eric Barker, Tommy Casse, David L. Casse, Danielle Casse, Kurt Casse, Vicky Koerner, Marcus Mires, Nicholas Davenport, Joshua Gauthier, Karl Gauthier, Jonathan Davenport, Christopher Davenport, Marsha Leblanc, Dana Branch. Thirty-three great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elise Leblanc Duplechain, her daughter Lisa Casse Davenport and brother C.J. (Neg) Duplechain.
