Funeral services for Vernice “Nun” Daville will be held on Tuesday July 13, 2010 at 2:00pm at the Unity Baptist Church located on Hwy. 190 West. The interment will be in the Prairie Ronde Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Greg Gaspard will conduct the services.

Mrs. Daville, age 84, a resident of Opelousas died Saturday July 10, 2010 at her residence.

Survivors include her son; Arva Daville of Prairie Ronde, daughters; Belva Roberie of Ville Platte and Peggy Guidry of Prairie Ronde, 12 grandchildren , 31 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Andrew and Edmonia Prudomme, adoptive parents; Albert and Onezime Ledoux, husband; Averance Daville, son Charles Daville, grandchildren; Ricky Roberie and Sandra Fontenot, great grandchildren; Eric Arnaud, Hillary Parsley and Kurt Duhon and one great great grandchild; Ronald Katrola.

Visitation will be held on Monday July 12, 2010 at 11:00am until 10:00pm and will reopen on Tuesday from 8:00am until time of services.
